This route starts at Posiciones de Veleta and finishes at Hoya de la Mora. The route is 11,65 km long, has an elevation of 282 m, and takes about 4.5 hours to complete.

LONG DESCRIPTION

For this track, it is necessary to take the lanzadera up from the Albergue Universitario at Hoya de la Mora to Posiciones de Veleta  (Reservations +34 671 564 407, Price: 11€ return, 7€ one-way, Dogs allowed if booked 2€). From here, we walk up to the Pico del Veleta, the highest point of the walk at 3389 m. From here, we make our waydown to the Refugio de la Carihuela and round to the Lagunillos de la Virgen. There is then a gentle descent back down to the Hoya de la Mora.
